Baby Girl’s first birthday party was success! I invited too many people and still probably stepped on some toes on who I did not invite. It was 90% family, my husband has a LOT of family, which makes me so happy but it makes a full home (still happy).
I bought the supplies for her party from Party City, Target, and (surprisingly) Wish! The cupcakes were ordered from Publix. I chose cupcakes with whipped frosting because a) I hate buttercream and b) easier to clean up and give to my baby than a cake. At Publix they actually had a deal where if I was buying a sheet-cake for her birthday they would have given me a free smash cake. I paid more for the cupcakes but I loved how they turned out. We ended up having about a dozen left over after the party, I think we ate them mostly for breakfast haha.

This balloon was my favorite purchase from Wish. It’s now two months later and it is just now deflating! The balloon itself was so cheap ($1.85) and inflating it at Party City was only $7. If I were to have purchased that same balloon at Party City it would have been $12. I love a savings!

These cupcake toppers really added a flair to the cupcakes. I only paid $2.90 for them and they have two different unicorns on them. They have a toothpick end so they can be used for more than just cupcakes!

This was actually my first purchase for her birthday because I bought matching ones for her 1/2 and her first birthday. She’s at the age now where she pulls everything out of her hair or off her head. I can’t keep a cute bow or headband on her to save my life, but thankfully the cupcake was enough distraction to keep it on long enough for photos. I still never took her one year old photos, mainly because I’ve been so busy and she keeps getting boo-boos on her face some how and I didn’t want that in the photos. I only paid $2 for each crown.
